Inside the TUODI sensor-lighting factory in Zhaoqing, China

Around one million units a year, by the factory's own figures, from TUODI's production base in Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, on equipment the factory lists as 2 SMT placement machines, an 8-temperature-zone reflow oven, CNC machining, laser marking, 2 integrating spheres, oscilloscopes and 4 ageing racks.

See it working before you order: electronics placement and reflow, product assembly, laser marking, photometric and battery checks, ageing racks, connected-unit benches, finished goods and packing, on a live video call or an in-person visit.

Illuminated fixture check — a gloved operator uses the factory's functional-check station.

Laser marking — a TUODI mark is applied to an aluminium light housing.

Connected switch test bench — an operator works with connected switch units at the bench.

How a production order moves through quality control

A five-stage path for sensor-switch and rechargeable-light builds. The inspection plan for your order names the tests and pass limits at each stage.

Incoming material

Check the received components and materials against the order specification.

SMT & PCBA

Place and inspect electronics before soldering and subassembly move forward.

Finished function

Check switching, sensing distance/behaviour, light response and controls for the configured product.

Charge & ageing

For rechargeable-light orders, define the charge, illumination and ageing stage required for that build.

Pack & lot check

Confirm appearance, accessories, labels and packaging, then apply the agreed shipment-lot sample plan.

Private label: a TUODI mark is laser-applied to an aluminium light housing.
Connected light products illuminated together on a factory test bench
Batch check: connected products are illuminated together on a factory bench.

Put the tests on the order: sample size, duration, pass limits, record format and failed-lot remedy. Compare supplier proposals with the picture-led quality comparison and build your checks with the sample acceptance planner.

Notes

The equipment list and the figure of around one million units of annual output are supplied by the factory.

These options help you inspect a proposed order. They do not replace the qualification, documents or audit requirements set by your customer or destination market.

TDL-7148 ageing-run video: no duration, pass limit or result is shown; agree the ageing stage and its limit for your own build.

The photographs show the stations at work; the inspection coverage for your order is confirmed on the order.

The Google Maps link is an address search, not a gate pin, so confirm the visitor entrance and pickup plan before booking travel.

The older warehouse footage below is from the company's earlier premises, so it is not what you would see on a visit.
